This is My dear Brigid, mind my colloquial expression, but ‘I proper luv her I do!’ Brigid Panet, Acting Teacher, Mentor and Friend.
I first met Brigid at a RADA Acting workshop she was teaching. I was devastated because I very nearly got into RADA, like everyone thought I was going to be offered a place, and then I wasn’t. I started going to every RADA workshop they had going to learn more about the craft, and find out why I fell at the last hurdle. I met Brigid at a Chekhov workshop, poured my tender heart out to her and she asked if I would like to keep in touch - I did. She encouraged me to audition for Drama school again, has read every draft of my play ‘Subject To Contract’, hooked me up with people in the theatre world, and she makes a mean scone! Yesterday I was helping her film an acting exercise for her new website. (Link below in comments.) Brigid has worked with some of the best UK actors in film & theatre. For tips on line learning, and truthful ways to engage with text, check out her website. #acting #actress #actor #actorslife #rada #dramaschool #london #teaching #stanislavski #actorscentre #centralschoolofspeechanddrama #playwright
